Dear traveler, our team will assist and guide you in using public transportation to reach the bus station for your overnight bus trip to Cappadocia. Your bus will depart between 8:00-10:00 PM, and you are expected to arrive in Cappadocia the following morning between 7:00-9:00 AM. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for a 1-2 hour rest before the start of your group tour in Cappadocia.
Day 1: Start your morning with Northern Cappadocia. Begin with a visit to Goreme Panorama, offering a magnificent view of fairy chimneys. Next, explore the enormous cloisters of the Open Air Museum. You’ll also visit Ortahisar village, known for storing food in caves, and the Dervent Valley, where you can see animal shapes in the rock stones. In the old city of Avanos, which overlooks the longest river in Türkiye, the Red River, you can admire the region’s pottery. Your itinerary continues with a visit to Pasabag, Monks Valley’s fairy-colored mushroom-shaped chimneys. Finally, head to Cavusin Village to see cut-rock dwellings, stone houses, and churches. Enjoy lunch at one of the region’s local restaurants during the tour.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
Day 2: Get ready for an early start between 4:00-5:00 am for the highlight of your trip – the hot air balloon ride! Our team will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the launch site where you will watch in awe as the balloons are prepared for flight. You’ll have the opportunity to see many of them take off into the sky as you enjoy soft drinks and snacks. Then, it’s time to board your balloon and take to the air for a breathtaking hour-long ride over Cappadocia’s unique landscape. Your safety is our top priority, so before takeoff, our expert pilot will give you instructions and safety precautions. You will be able to view the stunning rock formations and valleys from a different perspective, while our ground team follows your balloon in vehicles. After landing, you will receive a commemorative certificate and a champagne toast to celebrate your unforgettable experience.
After your balloon flight, you will return to your hotel for breakfast and a break before the start of your full-day tour around 9:00-9:30 am.
Our second-day tour will take you to the beautiful landscapes of Southern Cappadocia. You will begin your adventure at Uchisar Castle, which was used historically as a fortress by various civilizations. Next, we will hike through the stunning Red Valley for approximately 4 km towards Rose Valley, where you can admire the beauty of rock churches. Our next stop is Cavusin Village, one of the oldest human settlements, where people still use caves as houses and churches. We’ll continue the day with a visit to the fascinating Kaymakli Underground City, the largest shelter used by locals for several centuries to protect themselves from persecution. Before our final site, we’ll take you to Pigeon Valley, where you can see the beautiful pigeons living in their houses and enjoy a special view of Uchisar Castle. Last but not least, we will drive to Three Beauties Valley, where you can take in the stunning views and admire the famous Urgup town, known for its wine factories. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, where you will taste delicious Turkish cuisine.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to the bus station for your return to Istanbul.
