It was founded by the Attalid dynasty of Pergamum and was an important Roman and Byzantine port city. Throughout history, Antalya has been conquered and ruled by various civilizations such as the Byzantines, Seljuks, and Ottomans, each leaving their mark on the city’s culture and architecture.
This tour is designed to cover some of Antalya’s best sites in one day. The tour starts at 8:00 AM to discover and enjoy the Duden spring waterfalls flowing from the Taurus Mountains and cascading into the Mediterranean Sea, as well as sightseeing every corner of the city’s monuments. By joining this tour, you will also visit the west side of the city at Tunektepe, where you will climb approximately 600m to the hilltop for a special view of the city, the Mediterranean Sea, and the pine forests covering the nearby mountains. To add more joy to your tour, going down the hill will be by a cable car ride. Alternatively, you can enjoy this same tour program by replacing the visit to Tunektepe with an hour-long boat tour on the Mediterranean Sea to relax and view the beautiful nature of the coastal side of Antalya City, ancient monuments, along with many other sceneries of the city’s beauty. Near the end of this tour, you will have free time to visit the city’s centrum bazaar.
