Welcome to Türkiye! This tour package offers a cultural trip to some of the most important ancient sites in the country. We have specially designed this package to provide you with a convenient journey to visit Troy, Gallipoli, Ephesus & Pamukkale. Please read on to discover the itinerary details.
Day 1: Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul between 06:00-06:30 am. We will make a stop on the way to Gallipoli for breakfast and a short break. After a 5-hour drive, we will arrive at Gallipoli, where we will start the tour in the mid-noon. You will visit several memorials, including Dardanelles, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels), Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.
At the end of the Gallipoli tour, you will board a ferry boat to Canakkale for an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 2: On your second day in Türkiye, you will join a group tour of Troy at 8:30 am. The tour starts by visiting the famous Trojan Horse, followed by a visit to the site of over 10 ancient cities that have been built one on another, dating back to 3500 BC. The tour will continue with a visit to the Apollo Temple, the fortified city walls, and the battlefield where Hector and Achilles fought for power. You will also visit the Roman Theater and the roundly-shaped Greco-Roman Senate building that hosted deputies of democracy.
The Troy tour will end at 11:30 am, and you will depart for Selcuk at 11:45 am by bus, arriving at 6:00 pm. You will stay one night in Selcuk or Kusadasi.
Day 3: Your morning will begin with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a pick-up by our driver around 9:00-9:30 am to join the group for the Ephesus tour. You will visit the following sites: Artemis Temple, which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the city debris of Ephesus, Hadrian Temple, Celcuis library, hammams, Anfie Theater, and take your way through the old seaport. You will also have the chance to experience the ambiance of the unique Isabey Mosque, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the region.
In the final period of the tour, you will visit The House of Virgin Mary, where she spent her last five years. The Vatican considers it a place of pilgrimage for Christians.
The Ephesus tour ends at 4:30 pm, and you will be transferred back to the hotel for a second night stay in Ephesus.
Day 4: Today, you will explore Pamukkale, one of the most famous and stunning natural wonders of Türkiye. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30-9:00 am, and take you to visit the following sites:
The magnificent travertine terraces, created by the accumulation of carbonate minerals through the hot flowing water in a temperate climate. You can enjoy soaking in the hot springs and relax in the beautiful pools with a breathtaking view of the hills.
The ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can see the well-preserved ruins of the city, including the Necropolis which contains sarcophagi, including the Sarcophagus of Marcus Aurelius.
The Cleopatra Swimming Pool, where you have the opportunity to swim in the warm, mineral-rich waters.
During the tour, you will have lunch at one of the local restaurants in the region.
The tour will end at 4:30 pm, after which you will be transferred to the airport for your pre-booked flight to Istanbul. Upon your arrival, our driver will be waiting for you to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul.
