Day 1: Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our Northern Cappadocia (Red Tour) package, starting with an early morning flight to Kayseri/Nevsehir (Cappadocia) airport. Our friendly driver will pick you up from your Istanbul hotel and take you to the airport to catch your flight.
Upon arrival, join our group tour to explore the stunning sites of Northern Cappadocia. Begin your journey at Goreme Panorama, where you can take in the breathtaking view of the fairy chimneys. Next, visit the Open Air Museum, an enormous cloister that offers a glimpse into the area’s rich history.
As you travel with us, you will view the Ortahisar village castle, which was once used for storing food in caves. You will also get a chance to explore the Dervent Valley’s red lunar landscape, where you can marvel at rock formations that resemble animals. Visit the old city of Avanos, renowned for its pottery, and witness the majestic Red River.
The tour continues with Pasabag, Monks Valley’s fairy colored mushroom-shaped chimneys. Finally, you will explore Cavusin Village, with its unique cut-rock dwellings, stone houses, and churches. Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the region’s local restaurants during the tour.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel, where you can relax and reminisce about the fantastic day you just had.
Day 2: Be prepared for an early morning adventure! Between 4:00-5:00 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the location where the balloon flights depart. This will be a breathtaking experience that you’ll never forget. You’ll spend a full hour soaring through the skies while taking in the stunning views of the Cappadocia landscape. While you’re waiting for the flight, we’ll provide you with soft drinks and snacks. You’ll have a chance to watch the balloons being prepared and see many of them take off. Our team will follow your balloon on the ground in vehicles and be there to greet you when you land. At the end of the flight, you’ll receive a commemorative certificate and celebrate the joy with a toast of champagne.
After your balloon ride, we’ll take you back to your hotel for breakfast and a break before your full-day tour starts around 9:00-9:30 am.
The second day of your tour begins with a visit to Uchisar Castle, the largest fairy chimney in the region. The castle was historically used as a fortress by numerous civilizations. From there, we’ll take a 4-km hike through the stunning Red Valley to Rose Valley. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to view rock churches and experience the natural beauty of the region. We’ll then head to Cavusin village, one of the oldest human settlements in the area where people still use caves as houses and churches.
Our tour continues with a visit to the Kaymakli Underground City, the largest underground shelter in the region. The city provided shelter to the locals for several centuries and saved Christians from Roman persecution. Next, we’ll head to Pigeon Valley, where you’ll see the beautiful pigeons that still call this area home. You’ll also get a special view of Uchisar Castle from this valley. Lastly, we’ll take a drive to Three Beauties Valley, where you’ll see the stunning sights from above and get a chance to view the famous Urgup town, known for its wine factories. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant where you can taste the delicious Turkish cuisine.
The Southern Cappadocia (Green Tour) will end at 5:30 pm, and our team will transfer you to either the Kayseri or Nevsehir airport after the tour. From there, you’ll head to Izmir, where you’ll stay overnight at a hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi. Our driver will meet you at the airport for a pick-up and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3:
On day three of your tour, begin your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Meet your knowledgeable guide for the Ephesus tour in the lobby between 9:00 and 9:30 am, and prepare to embark on a journey through history.
Join a group of fellow adventurers as you visit the stunning Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Explore the city debris of Ephesus, and marvel at the grandeur of the Hadrian Temple, Celcuis Library, hammams, and Anfie Theater. Meander through the old seaport and experience the unique ambiance of the Isabey Mosque. During the tour, stop for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant.
As the tour draws to a close, visit the House of Virgin Mary, where the Vatican considers a place of pilgrimage for Christians. This is where she spent her last five years.
After the tour, you will have a return transfer to your hotel for your a second night’s stay.
Day 4:
On day four of your tour, begin your day with an early morning transfer from your hotel in Selcuk/Kusadasi to the breathtaking Pamukkale site between 7:30-8:00 am. Prepare to witness one of the world’s rarest natural creations.
Marvel at the natural hot springs and travertine terraces, which have formed over centuries due to the accumulation of carbonate minerals through hot flowing water in a temperate climate all year round. These beautifully created terraces of several sized pools have been used for relaxation under the sky in hot water, and locals and visitors alike treat many of their ailments while enjoying a breathtaking view above the hills.
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the ancient city of Hierapolis, and visit the Necropolis that contains sarcophagi, including the Sarcophagus of Marcus Aurelius. Take a dip in the Cleopatra Swimming Pool and enjoy a refreshing swim.
During the tour, stop for a delightful lunch at one of the region’s local restaurants.
The Pamukkale tour ends at 4:30 pm. Be packed up and ready for the return transfer to Izmir airport, where your flight will be scheduled to Istanbul/Sabiha Gokcen airport. Our driver will be waiting for you for a pick-up and return transfer to your hotel in Istanbul.
